>Advice for Parents & Guarantors

At UniGaff, we want to answer the question you’ve had on your mind. Is this the right accommodation for my child?

So, we wanted to help put your mind at ease with a couple of snippets about our company.

Safety is important to UniGaff. All of our properties are compliant with safety regulations and each bedroom has a lock to keep your child’s bedroom as safe as possible. Swansea is a safe city which is why it is so popular amongst students.

Well-being of the students is paramount to us. We will keep in close contact with our tenants throughout the duration of their stay. We send a review for the students to fill in one month after moving in so that we have enough time to make improvements.

Enjoyment is what university is all about. We understand that not knowing many people is a daunting experience to start, which is why we will try and arrange social meet ups at the start of every academic year and also at Christmas so friendships can be built.

Money can be a worry for parents and children. We understand that student loans can sometimes be delayed, or parents and guarantors can lose jobs. Whatever the situation is, we will try and work with you and discuss the options available. Transparency is key here and is the foundation of our landlord and tenant relationship.

Deposits are kept safe via a Government-approved tenancy deposit protection scheme. After final room inspections at the end of each tenancy your deposit will be returned less any costs deducted for damages.

We primarily own all of the properties we let but where we let on behalf of other landlords then the same standard of service applies. If you have any further questions then please contact us as we will be more than happy to help.
